Savannah State University
Founded in 1890, Savannah State is the oldest public historically black university in Georgia. Savannah State offers distinctive programs in environmental science, marine science, mass communications, social work and computer information systems. The university offers 22 baccalaureate majors and degrees, four graduate degrees, and more than 75 clubs, organizations, student publications, honoraries, sororities, fraternities and intramural sports. Located adjacent to a salt-marsh estuary, Savannah State's marine science program is the only one in Georgia offered in a natural setting.

Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah
Located in Savannah, Armstrong Atlantic State University is a dynamic part of the University System of Georgia. Acclaimed for academic excellence since 1935, AASU
